Optical fiber matching gel paste is a paste compound  which is soft, non sticky, water blocking, 

not easy to flow, non-toxic, harmless, glittering and translucent clear, the refractive index is similar 

with optical fiber and silicon glass, oil separation rate is zero, poor volatile performance, has good 

oxidation resistance and long term stability,it is widely applied to optical fiber communication and 

lighting industry.

Typical properties:

• 1.46 refractive index ,similar to fiber and silicon glass
• Transparent, not easy to flow, effective at > 350nm optical transmission
• High purity, non irritating, non-toxic, harmless, does not affect the sensitive semiconductor or metal
• The oil separation rate is zero, poor volatile performance, has good oxidation resistance and long term stability
• Wide applicable temperature: -40 °C ~ +150 °C

Typical applications:

1. Can reduce the Fresnel reflection loss caused between the fiber end face and the air.
2. The optical return loss test and other occasions, can separate sectional air reflection
3. The application of bare optical fiber connection and connection (such as a test or repair)
4. V-groove, mechanical connector (mechanical splicer), quick connector(field installation 
5. connector) and other temporary connection or permanent connection.
6. MT-RJ, MPO, MT optical fiber connector
7. The lighting applications
